Meeting Reminder
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, October 17, at 6:00 pm in the Spirit Cafe in the basement of Rockefeller chapel. We'll be talking about transhumanism, where humanity is going, whether we should modify ourselves and whether death is bad. Feel free to start reading about it on Wikipedia.
Upcoming Events
- Hemant Mehta, of the Friendly Atheist blog, will be speaking at DePaul this Tuesday, October 16. Facebook event with more details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/110547962433650/. Let us know if you're interested and we can round up a trip.
- Charity Movie Night!!!! In order to raise money for the Light the Night Walk, which is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, we're hosting a free screening of Monty Python's The Meaning of Life with a free spaghetti dinner. We'd love it if you brought your friends, and everyone donated a little something, but it's also supposed to be just a fun night with food.
