Please bring ideas you'd like to see implemented in the year to come! Hope to see you there!<br />
<br />
To give us an estimate of how much food we’ll need, please RSVP <a href="https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dDAydFNoWU15ZEFtcms4SXhkVnNuZ0E6MQ">here</a>.<br />

<u><b>This Week in the World</b></u><br />
<ul><li>A big story this week was about Damon Fowler, an atheist activist who's been ostracized from his community for standing up to prayer at graduation. Here's an <a href="http://friendlyatheist.com/2011/05/26/an-interview-with-damon-fowler-and-his-brother-jerrett/%20">interview</a> with him. Here’s an <a href="http://www.religiondispatches.org/archive/atheologies/4680/it%E2%80%99s_time_to_reconsider_graduation_prayer_in_public_high_schools/">alternate take</a>. If you want to show your support for Damon, you can join the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Support-Damon/103714833051042">support group on Facebook</a>.</li>
<li>A new horrifying development in the church's sex scandals, <a href="http://wwjtd.net/?p=566">here</a>.</li>
<li>On a happier note, did you know that <a href="http://www.scientificanews.com/2011/05/planets-wandering-alone-in-deep-space.html">planets can get orphaned</a>? It’s true, and very cool how scientists figured it out.</li>
<li>Get caught in the Rapture on Saturday? No. Well, that’s ‘cause it’s actually going to be <a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/under-god/post/harold-camping-says-may-21-2011-was-invisible-judgment-day-world-will-end-october-21-2011/2011/05/23/AFZmc99G_blog.html">October 21st</a>...</li>
<li>Hope you had a happy <a href="http://teenskepchick.org/2011/05/25/happy-towel-day/">Towel Day</a>!</li>
</ul><ul></ul><br />
That’s all for this installment. In conclusion, this week’s quote is from Douglas Adams:<br />
<blockquote>“Isn’t it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?</blockquote>Hope to see you on Tuesday, and join us again next fall!<br />
